Bangladesh will eradicate poverty by 2024, Finance Minister AMA Muhith has said.

Muhith came up with the assurance at an international seminar held in New York, said a press release of Bangladesh’s permanent mission to the United Nations received today.

Speaking as the chief guest, the finance minister highlighted Bangladesh’s progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) despite challenges and limitations.

The seminar, titled “Sustainable Development: Lessons from MDGs and Pathway for SDGs”, was organised by international think tank The Institute for Policy Advocacy and Governance (IPAG).
