Earlier, issuing a message Khaleda expressed grave concern over the country’s flood situation and blamed the government for not initiating any “realistic steps”.
She alleged that the countrymen have already become helpless losing their all belongings due to the adverse impact of the flash flood but the government did not initiate any effective step without “leap service.” to protect the people’s livelihood.
The government wants to hang on to power ignoring people’s interest and thus it did not put any heed to stand beside the flood affected and landslide victims, she said in a statement.
