Fakhrul flies to Singapore for treatment
BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir flew to Singapore this morning for a regular health check up.
He departed Dhaka on a Singaporean flight from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 8:50am, Syrul Kabir Khan, a staff of BNP chairperson’s media wing, told The Daily Star.
He will check his health at National University Hospital of that country, Syrul said.
Fakhrul will stay there for four or five days. Earlier he was admitted at the hospital for physical illness.
