5 JS bodies reconstituted to incorporate BNP MPs
The House reconstituted five parliamentary standing committees tonight to incorporate five MPs of BNP in the parliamentary watchdog.
Chief Whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury proposed the changes in the Jatiya Sangsad Committees which was unanimously passed by voice votes.
Of the five BNP MPs, Harunur Rashid from Chapai Nawabganj-3 was included in the parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Finance, Aminul Haque from Chapai Nawabganj-2 was made a member in the parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Land, Mosharof Hosen from Bagura- 4 was included in the parliamentary standing committee on the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Ukil Abdus Sattar from Brahmanbaria-2 was included in the parliamentary standing committee on law and Jahidur Rahman was made JS committee on Public Accounts.
Meanwhile, BNP MP Harunur Rashid taking the floor on a point of order yesterday said that the banking sector and share market are facing a big crisis.
He said that whenever Awami League assumes power share market face debacle. “Scam of share market took place in 1996 and 2008-2009,” he alleged.
“Government should take immediate effective measure to stop this disaster of share market” he added.
He alleged that the financial sector and share market are going through a tough time as a huge amount of money were sent aboard.
Jatiya party lawmaker Pir Fazlur Rahman criticized BCB and sports ministry for not having red colour in the jersey of Bangladesh Cricket Team for upcoming World Cup Cricket.
“I heard that Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina said that red colour will be in the jersey. In the current Bangladesh PM have to do and talk everything from issue of Nusrat killing to cricket team jersey,” he said.
