Will provide constructive criticism of govt: GM Quader

Jatiya Party co-chairman and deputy leader of the opposition in parliament GM Quader yesterday said they will offer constructive criticism to help the government rectify its mistakes.

“People of the country don't like destructive politics. That's why Jatiya Party will offer constructive criticism to help the government understand its mistakes. We will help ensure a government with accountability,” he said.

The Jatiya Party leader came up with the remarks at a reception programme accorded to him and JP Secretary General Moshiur Rahman Ranga.

Mohammadpur Thana Unit of JP organised the reception programme at a community centre in the capital.

GM Quader said as opposition MPs, JP lawmakers will speak in favour of the country's deprived people which would increase the party's acceptability among people.  

Ranga said JP will achieve its desired result by earning the trust of public.

Presided over by Rafiqul Islam Selim, president, Mohammadpur unit of JP, the meeting was addressed by JP presidium members Faisal Chisti, Shafiqul Islam Sentu, among others.
