‘Khaleda can’t walk, eat alone’
BNP lawmaker Golam Mohammad Siraj today said that the physical condition of Khaleda Zia is quite bad and she cannot walk and eat alone.
“She (Khaleda Zia) can’t walk and eat alone. She is not getting any proper treatment here (BSMMU). She needs immediate treatment at the specialised hospital,” the BNP MP said.
Siraj was talking to reporters after he also along with three other lawmakers met Khaleda at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in Dhaka this afternoon.
The other BNP lawmakers are Barrister Rumeen Farhana, Mosharraf Hossain and Zahidur Rahman.
Demanding the immediate release of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, he said Khaleda Zia will not get released from jail without a political decision.
He also urged Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to manage the bail of Khaleda Zia as a leader of the parliament.
Talking to reporters at that time, Rumeen Farhana said Khaleda Zia told them that she has right to get bail and deserves to get bail according to the country’s law.
“I didn’t commit any crime. Why the question is arising about my bail on parole,” Rumin quoted Khaleda as saying.
