No confidence over Khaleda’s treatment: Moudud
Expressing no confidence to Khaleda Zia’s treatment provided by the government, BNP Standing Committee Member Moudud Ahmed today demanded the party chairperson's immediate release from jail for better treatment.
"The government has formed a medical board for assessing Khaleda Zia's health. The medical board is nothing but eyewash. We have no confidence in the treatment," Moudud said.
Moudud came up with the remarks at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) where Khaleda was taken from old central jail in Dhaka for medical tests.
Claiming that Khaleda Zia has been kept in an abandoned jail where she is destined to fall sick, Moudud demanded her immediate release so that she can take proper treatment by her personal doctors.
A four-member medical board formed for the treatment of the BNP chief examined her at the jail on April 1.
