BNP disappointed at PM’s speech

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today observed that the whole nation is disappointed at the speech of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Addressing a press conference at BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan residence, the veteran BNP leader made the comment in his reaction to the PM’s speech.
“The nation expected that the prime minister will address the ongoing crisis the country is passing through. However, she avoided the whole issue.”
The BNP leader also alleged that the information the premier provided regarding economic development, growth and democracy have a contrast to the real scenario.
“Wearing the mask of democracy the government in last two years has been feeding one party rule.”
Mentioning that the premier did not address the issue of next general election in her yesterday’s speech, the BNP veteran claimed the nation is also disappointed at this.
Among others, BNP standing committee members Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Joint Secretary General Md Shahjahan were present at the press conference.
