PM greets Khaleda
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today sent an Eid greeting card to her political opponent BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia wishing her a happy Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival of the Muslims.
A four-member Awami League delegation, led by its former Assistant Secretary Sikandar Ali, handed over the card to BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi around 12:30 pm at the party's Nayapaltan central office, AL Office Secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap told the Daily Star.
Khaleda Zia who went to London on July 15 for medical treatment is likely to return home after celebrating the Eid there with her family members.
Sheikh Hasina and Khaleda Zia have not met each other in recent times. However, both of them have exchanged greeting cards during Eid and invited each other to Iftar parties every year.
