Fire at Balukhali Rohingya camp doused
A fire that broke out at a Rohingya refugee camp in Ukhiya upazila of Cox's Bazar this afternoon has been doused.
The fire broke out at Balukhali camp number 10 around 2:30pm. Two firefighting units rushed there and doused it, said Rasel Sikder, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Control Room in Dhaka.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
Earlier on March 22, a deadly fire broke out at Balukhali refugee camp in Ukhiya that left at least 11 dead and over 500 injured.
The fire gutted down over 10,000 homes of the camp.
