Ghost on Airport Road forced to take part in road safety workshop
Chapasthan Road Transport Authority (CRTA) has finally managed to bring down road accidents in Dhoka, by forcing the ghost on Airport Road to take part in a road safety workshop.
While going through the road, CRTA authorities saw the ghost, wearing her signature white sharee, waving at them to stop the vehicle. A fight then ensued over the next course of action, whether to assist or run her over.
Ignoring the advice of crushing the girl under the wheels, they stopped the vehicle and took the ghost in. Then started a mini road trip, with Bally Sagoo's "Noorie" playing on full blast.
After reaching the headquarters, the ghost, Chinky, got enrolled in the workshop. Now, she is learning all the road safety guidelines.
Chinky now knows how to safely cross the road, use ride-sharing apps instead of asking for lifts at the dead of night, and not wear the same sharee every day.
"My ghost parents never taught me these basic skills. All they'd tell me was to consume the souls of the living," she said. "So, every day I'd stand in the middle of Airport Road, trying to consume."
"My parents have failed and so have all the drivers who tried to run me over," Chinky said. "Not a single person stopped to see if I was doing okay, that is until CRTA came along."
"I'm now a responsible ethereal citizen," she added with a smile.
Contacted, Md Chondal Baba, CRTA's supernatural spokesperson, said, "We are delighted to have helped Chinky become the kind of ghost we all want in society.
"We hope other entities will be just as conscious of road safety from now on. Otherwise, we will take action using our holy water cannon and make them disappear," he added.
