Puzzle games and mind benders are fun and all in a methodical manner, but there are moments when we merely want pure fun. That is what Hungry Shark World gives you.

Made by Ubisoft, this mobile game allows you to be a shark with a bottomless pit of a stomach.  You eat everything in sight to keep your shark alive and you level up your shark or buy new sharks to be able to eat and challenge more of the beings around you in the shark infested waters of four maps. One of the maps stays unlocked at start and the other three you have to unlock by unlocking X number of sharks, or by simply buying them.

Staying online allows you to compete with other players of the game in terms of distance travelled, things you have eaten, including enemy sharks, etc.

The maps are actually quite elaborate. You'll need an adequately powerful smartphone to play this. But once you explore the maps, you might only open this just to kill time rather than staying invested in it. Overall, it is a fun little game to play when you have to wait in line, or when you are stuck in traffic.
