In association with Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI), DIU Pharma Career Expo 2018 was held from February 3-4, 2018 at main campus of Daffodil International University (DIU) in the capital.

Nazmul Hassan MP, President, BAPI and President, Bangladesh Cricket Board inaugurated the expo as the chief guest. S. M. Shafiuzzaman, Secretary General, BAPI was present as the special guest at the opening ceremony. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, BOT, DIU and Chairman, Daffodil Family presided over the inaugural ceremony. The inaugural ceremony was also addressed by Prof. Dr. Yousuf Mahabubul Islam, VC; Prof. Dr. S M Mahabubul Haque Majumder, Pro-VC; and Md. Mustafezur Rahman, Head, Department of Pharmacy of DIU.

The Pharma Career Expo included seminars, workshop, career talk show, exhibition, and project display. A total of 15 pharmaceutical industries participated in this expo.

A series of seminars titled "Conquer Your Career: A Guide to Mastering Lifelong Success", "Pharma Product Management in Bangladesh" and "Professional employability in pharma sector" were held where industry leaders shared their experiences and provided guidelines for the newcomers in this sector.
