Frobel Academy launches teachers' training courses
Frobel Academy inaugurated the Pre-Primary and Primary Teachers' Training Course (PPTC) in association with Sunderji's Institutions at Theatre Institute, Chittagong on April 21, 2018. The panel discussions focused on bringing inclusive education to mainstream classrooms by integrating special needs for children and development of teachers' training courses to give professional opportunities to teachers. Director of Frobel Academy, Huwra Zohair, stressed to reform education and urged schools to come together under one platform and work together.
The one-year certificate course will start in August 2018 at the premises of Frobel Academy. Sunderji Teachers' Training Institute, Pune, India has developed the course, and master trainers from the institute will develop the local trainers to deliver the syllabus. The syllabus will impart knowledge about Child Development, Principles of Education, Methods and Materials of Education, English Fluency Programme, and also give an introduction to Special Needs Education as well as teaching skills needed in 21st century.
PPTC is valuable to any teacher who wishes to enhance their teaching skills and educational pedagogy. Forms for registration in PPTC can be downloaded from www.frobelacademy.com. The inauguration's chief guest was Prof. Shaheeda Islam, Chairman of Board of Secondary and Intermediate Education, and the guest of honour was Dr. Mazharul Mannan from Institute of Paediatric Neurodisorder and Autism (IPNA). Other guests included chairman and directors of BSRM Group of Companies, directors of Frobel Academy, and renowned educationist from other schools. A total of 240 participants from over 30 educational institutions and organisations participated in the event.
