Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) arranged orientation programme for freshers' of Fall Semester 2019 on September 25, 2018 at the university campus. Prof. Dr. Golam Samdani Fakir, VC of GUB presided over the programme while Md. Shahid Ullah, Treasurer; Prof. Dr. Golam Ahmed Faruqui, Dean; Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Dean; Md. Saiful Islam, Registrar (Acting); Chairpersons of different departments, faculty members and newly admitted students were present.

The orientation programme included introduction session and briefing session. The session focused on academic systems and rules, necessary information about GUB, different clubs and co-curricular activities. The VC of GUB welcomed the newly enrolled students and encouraged them to prepare themselves as global citizens. He said the best gift could be not only higher academic performance but also preparing as a complete human being.

 At the outset, Md. Saiful Islam, Registrar highlighted the background and regulations of the university.
