Southeast University (SEU) organised an online freshers' reception program for the spring semester on March 14. SEU VC Prof. Dr AFM Mafizul Islam chaired the program while novelist and The Daily Prothom Alo's Associate Editor Anisul Hoque was present as the chief guest. SEU BoT Adviser Prof. Dr ANM Meshquat Uddin attended the program as a special guest. SEU Registrar Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed (Retd) welcomed the newly enrolled students. 

Among others, BoT members, Deans, Chairmen, faculty members, officials, and newly enrolled students were present at the program.

SEU has approved a 15% waiver on tuition fees and a 50% waiver on admission fees. Scholarships of up to 100% are also available in 11 different categories.
