Editorial
Truth be told, I have created quite a reputation for myself just by writing editorials every year when we put out a wedding-themed issue. I write about weddings I’ve been to and the biriyani I’ve had. But most importantly, my talent and passion for writing about steaming aloos have taken me places. That singular topic has transcended supplements—and even though I don’t like to brag about it—was received with much adoration among readers and family members.
And so I’m back endorsing potatoes. Why should I not? They’re healthy (yes, Ammu, they really are), one can rarely go wrong with them and they’re perfect in every shape, form and physical state. With onion prices skyrocketing every day, turn to aloo. FYI, it’s also 80 percent water.
Another year, another wedding issue, another editorial about tubers. See you next year!
