Classic Movie Endings Made Better

No matter how much you have loved the entire movie, sometimes the endings just do not feel right. Here's a list of classic movies which could have ended differently. Movies are a form of escapism; we see no need to give our favourite characters a sad ending in the fictional universe like one would have in real life.

Titanic
I have watched this movie umpteen times and every time it equally hurts seeing Rose be an idiot and not fit Jack on that floating wooden door. It has actually been scientifically proven keeping all the variants (the size of the door, mass of Jack and Rose) in mind that Jack could have been saved.

Pather Panchali
Everything hurts. A classic drama by one of the greatest minds of his time has the loveable duo of siblings broken and the audience sobbing. Durga, sister of Apu, passes away due to having caught a fever and inadequate medical care. In a perfect world, we would not allow this to happen.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I suggest this on popular demand. The fandom is torn between deciding whether to love or hate Severus Snape. For those who love, we would see to an alternate ending where Harry Potter's children get to grow up being loved by the bravest man their father had ever known. We don't suggest the kids get too cosy with Snape though, he would hate it.

Sholay
This Bollywood classic would be so much more electrifying, had Thakur gotten a pair of bionic arms. If left to us, we would like to make Gabbar's laugh more hysterical and get toddlers to sleep early by making them listen to it.

Into the Wild
For the most part, I have my life figured out and very few movies make me question my life choices. This is one of those masterpieces which simply does not end in movie credits, it makes you stop and think whether what you are doing is what you are supposed to do. I was really rooting for McCandless to make out of it alive. Though a biography, the alternative to him dying would bring dreamers much more hope.
