Anil Bagchi'r Ekdin has four day long screening

The viewers have so far admired director Morshedul Islam's touch in bringing late novelist Humayun Ahmed's "Anil Bagchi'r Ekdin" to the silver screen. The independence war centred film has been screened at various film festivals ever since its release.

Fans in Dhaka had the opportunity to enjoy the film once again as it was screened at the Central Library's Showkat Osman Auditorium from March 20-24 on account of the country's Independence Day. There were 3 screenings of the film every day and the fans flocked to the venue to see Humayun Ahmed's words come to life.

"Anil Bagchi'r Ekdin" had debut actor Aref Syed in the titular role, with names like Gazi Rakayet, Toufik Emon, Jyotika Jyoti, Farhana Mithu and Misha Showdagar in the supporting roles.
