Momtaz sings for Debi

Renowned artist Momtaz has lent her voice to the song Doyel Pakhir Konnya Re for Jaya Ahsan's upcoming flick Debi. The song has been composed by Pritom Hasan and the lyrics were written by Rakib Hasan Rahul. While speaking about the song, Jaya said, "There was a scene in the movie where the director and I felt a song by Momtaz Apa would be perfect. She has sung the song with a lot of passion, and we believe the audience would appreciate the song as much as we did." Jaya said the songs of Debi will soon be released. Momtaz, a popular Bangla folk artist, has recorded over 700 songs in her career spanning two decades, including hits like Age Jodi Jantam, Morar Kokile and many more.
