Katrina Kaif Honoured with Smita Patil Award

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was honoured with Smita Patil Memorial Award on September 19, for her contribution to Indian cinema. The award was presented to the actress at the Global Awards ceremony. Niranjan Hiranandani, Chairman of Priyadarshni Academy mentioned that Katrina was unanimously nominated by the jury this year for the prestigious award for her works in movies, and as acknowledgment to an exceptional individual who has displayed excellence in her field.

The popular actress was last seen starring in the movie "Baar Baar Dekho", which explores a love story through time travel. Starring alongside the actress is actor Sidharth Malhotra. The film is directed by Nitya Mehra.
