Twilight famed actor Robert Pattinson finally opened up about his new role as Batman. He mentioned that he wasn't at all bothered about the public reaction, especially the backlash he received from DC fans when he was confirmed to be playing the iconic superhero. Pattinson said, "To be honest, it was less vitriolic than I was expecting, It's much more fun when you're an underdog. There's no expectation of you." In a recent interview with Variety, the actor revealed how he grew up watching the Tim Burton Batman movies, and also had his own Batman costume. So, it was 'transformative' for him to get into the Batsuit again. Previously, actors like George Clooney, Christian Bale and Ben Affleck, among others starred as the superhero. So, Robert has a great challenge ahead to not only match the acting calibre of the previous artists, but also to live up to the fans' expectations.
