A ‘Neo’ era of The Matrix

If you think John Wick getting a third instalment while keeping The Matrix away from fans is utter injustice, you're not alone. It has been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter that the fan-favourite Keanu Reeves trilogy will be met with a fourth instalment. That's not all; The Matrix 4 will be released on May 21, 2021 — the exact same day John Wick 4 is set to be released! That's amazing news for fans of both franchises, but not so much for the production companies: Warner Bros. and Lionsgate. It will be interesting to see which film is a bigger blockbuster. One thing's for sure — Reeves will give a show-stopping performance in both the films.
