The first look for the Hindi remake of the film, The Girl on the Train was released on August 20, 2019. The film, which will share the same name as the original, features Parineeti Chopra, and is produced by Reliance Entertainment. As for the first look for the film, two pictures of Parineeti were released, both showing very different sides of her character. The first showed her sitting in a bathtub with a dazed expression and a wound on her forehead. The second showed her wearing a black pant-suit, staring into the camera with a menacing glare. Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, the film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Kirti Kulhari. Even though an official release date for the film hasn't been announced yet, the filmmakers are targeting a 2020 release.
