Md. Zohad Reza
Md. Zohad Reza is the frontman of the renowned rock band 'Nemesis'. In these challenging times, he talks to Star Showbiz about what he's been up to during quarantine, and urges everyone to stay at home.
How are you spending your time in quarantine?
I usually don't get to stay at home much, so it's very different for me to stay in quarantine. I'm trying to keep myself busy by doing many different things, like staying involved in music. I also have been covering songs and uploading them on Facebook. Normally, when I did shows on a regular basis, I wouldn't get to spend much time with my family. Now, I have been spending as much time as I can with them. I think that we all need to stay home now.
Can you tell us about the '#togetherathome' challenge?
I did the #togetherathome challenge where musicians all over the world would record a song from their houses and upload it on social media. If I'm not mistaken, Chris Martin from Coldplay started the challenge. I covered Redemption Song by Bob Marley for it. What I love about this challenge is that I can see everyone having a good time recording songs from their houses and releasing it. Also, right before we went into quarantine, all members of Nemesis came together and we went live to perform some songs for the viewers at home.
Would you like to tell the readers to stay home?
I would advise people to stay at home as that is the only way we can help fix this situation. The scientists who are working hard to find a cure have instructed people to remain at home, so we should follow that. I know that the times are tough as many people need to go out and work to earn their living, but there is no other option here. If you go out, you're not only risking yourself, but also others. You might infect someone with a weak immune system, and even if the disease doesn't harm you, it might kill that person. I urge everyone to stay at home in these difficult times. I hope everyone will stay at home as we have no other way to stop the virus.
