The Angry Birds Movie 2

The Angry Birds Movie 2 is an animated film, produced by John Cohen, and directed by Thurop Van Orman. The film, which was voiced by Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad and Danny McBride, among others, is based on the video game series, Angry Birds, by Rovio Entertainment. The plot follows the aftermath of the historical battle between the Angry Birds and the Bad Piggies, who have to unite to fight an unprecedented threat, a mystical purple bird, named Zeta. It was first released on August 2, 2019.

21 Bridges

21 Bridges is an action-thriller, starring Chadwick Boseman, Stephan James and Sienna Miller, among others. It was directed by Brian Kirk, and distributed by STX Entertainment. The storyline follows an NYPD detective, who puts Manhattan on a lockdown, in order to find two cop killers on the loose. During his search, the detective uncovers a string of secrets, which changes his very perception of reality. The film was first released on July 18, 2019.

Mindhunter

Mindhunter is a crime series, produced by Jim Davidson and Mark Winemaker. It was created by Joe Penhall, and stars Holt McCallany, Hannah Gross and Jonathan Groff, among others. It is based on John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker’s Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit. The first season, which is set in 1977 in Quantico, Virginia, features the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, who interview serial killers to understand their murderous minds, and use their viewpoints to solve murders. The second season, which will be released on August 16, 2019, will cover the Atlanta murders of 1979–81.

Succession

Succession is a comedy-drama television series, starring Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun and Brian Cox. It has been created by Jesse Armstrong, and produced by Regina Heyman and Dara Schnapper. The story revolves around the life of Logan Roy, the owner of a major media and entertainment conglomerate, as he begins to plan the company’s future, and how its ownership will be divided amongst his children. The first season of the show was aired on HBO, on June 3, 2018, and a second season is expected to be released on August 11, 2019.

Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling

Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling is an animated comedy show, directed by Joe Murray and Cosmo Serguson, and produced by Ilene Gannaway. It has been based on Joe Murray’s Nickelodeon television series of the same name. The series follows the life of Rocko and his friends, who return to earth after twenty-five years with futuristic technological devices. The characters have been voiced by Carlos Alazraqui, Tom Kenny and Doug Lawrence, among others, and the show is currently available on Netflix. It was originally released on August 9, 2019.
