It has been created by Susannah Grant, Ayelet Waldman and Michael Chabon, produced by John Vohlers, alongside others, and stars Toni Collette, Merritt Wever and Kaitlyn Dever among others. The series follows two detectives who try to find the truth behind the story of a teenage girl reporting a rape case. It was originally released on September 13, 2019, and is available on Netflix.
