What is your style mantra?
I like clothes that are simple and comfortable, yet make me look fashionable. I'm not a fan of clothes that are form-fitting.
Who is your favourite style icon in Bangladesh and in Hollywood?
Amongst celebrities, my favourite style icon is definitely Sadia Islam Mou. I also like the fashion sense of Tahsan Rahman Khan and Adil Hossain Noble. From the celebrities in Hollywood, my favourites are Chris Evans, Tom Cruise and Scarlett Johansson.
Who is your favourite fashion designer?
I generally don't wear designer clothes. My mother and I usually design the clothes I wear. But amongst the Bangladeshi designers, I like the work of Shahrukh Amin, Biplob Saha and Asma Sultana.
What is your regular everyday wear?
For everyday attire, I usually go for kurtis or loose pants paired with tops. I always make sure to carry a scarf with me to protect myself from pollution.
What is your general party wear like?
To me, getting dressed for a party is a form of challenge. I try to present myself in a unique manner, no matter what the event is. When I go to parties, I usually like wearing kameez, especially anarkali styled ones. If it's a birthday party, I might opt for a dress, as they are my favourite kind of clothing. I rarely wear sarees.
What are your favourite accessories?
My favourite accessories are watches and bracelets. I also like collecting different varieties of shoes.
What is a must have in your wardrobe?
I always keep jeggings and scarves in my wardrobe.
What is a fashion trend that you dislike?
I dislike any trends that require one to show too much skin.
Which fashion trend would you say is your favourite?
I really liked it when loose pants were trendy. I generally do not follow the trends, but I enjoyed the time when jumpsuits were popular, as they tend to be very flattering.
What fashion message would you like to give to the readers?
Everyone should wear clothes in which they feel smart and confident. One should not follow someone else's style, but wear what makes them feel comfortable.
