Australia cricketer Shane Watson has been ruled out of the BPL following an injury he suffered while bowling for local club Sutherland.

The 36-year old suffered a hamstring injury which will prevent him from lining up for BPL outfit Dhaka Dynamites this season.

Meanwhile, cricket.com.au report says that cricketer Michael Klinger has received permission from Cricket Australia and Wester Australia Cricket Association to play in the BPL.

The decision to allow Klinger to participate in the BPL was reched by mutual agreement since BPL stint would give the 37-year old veteran some much needed practice before the Big Bash in Australia.
