Liton strikes fantastic double hundred

East Zone's Liton Das, who was in blistering touch yesterday, goes on to score a double hundred against Central Zone in the Bangladesh Cricket League match at Rajshahi.

Liton, continuing from his overnight 125-ball 139, went on to complete his double century off 192 deliveries with a four off Elias Sunny. At the time of writing this report, Liton was unbeaten on 259 off 255 deliveries -- the highest score in this season's BCL with 34 fours and two sixes.

The right-handed starred in a 298-run fourth-wicket partnership with Afif Hossain, who struck a 227-ball 142 with 15 fours and five sixes. After 102 overs their first innings, East Zone reached 502 for the loss of four wickets in reply to Central Zone's first innings total of 546.
