Mashrafe talks about getting things right
Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza says that Bangladesh have to recover from their disastrous tour of South Africa and look forward to overcoming upcoming challenges.
The pacer suggested that the players were upset following the South Africa tour and if the Tigers can manage to win the ri-nation series then it could lead to a change in the right direction.
Bangladesh came back form New Zealand without winning a single match but the team managed to put up a fight during a number of matches, something they failed to do during the South Africa tour. Big margin defeats in the Tests were followed by disastrous results in the ODIs as familiar problems related to fifth-day batting collapse and poor bowling performances resurfaced.

"We came back from New Zealand with a 3-0 loss as well but we were not under this kind of pressure," Mashrafe reiterated.
"We came back from South Africa having played badly in all formats. Now we have to put things right."
Mashrafe knows that doing well at home turf is not a guarantee that the team will do well in away series. He emphasized that while the idea is to find out what can be improved but it is also important to put the disapointments behind them.
"Home wins will not help us to win abroad. We want to win the home series but there is no reason to mix that with away performances since there is a big difference between the two."
Regarding BCB's stance on Tamim Iqbal and Sabbir Rahman, the captain said that there is nothing else to do but accept the decisions.
"We all work under the BCB and it is our responsibility to accept any decisions they make. We are followed by many youngsters, especially players who are coming up the ranks at U-15, U16 and U19 levels. So, it is our responsibility to handle matters properly off the pitch as well."
