Mominul-Mushfiqur strike record third-wicket partnership for Bangladesh

The 236-run partnership between Mushfiqur Rahim and Mominul Haque is the highest third-wicket partnership for Bangladesh in Tests.

The previous highest third-wicket partnership was between Mominul Haque and Tamim Iqbal against New Zealand back in 2013.

The partnership between the duo is also fourth in the list of highest partnerships for Bangladesh for any wicket. It is also Bangladesh third-highest partnership against Sri Lanka in Test cricket, beating the previous one set by Imrul Kayes and Shamsur Rahman in 2014.

Mushfiqur Rahim departed after scoring 92, edging Suranga Lakmal through to the wicket-keeper.
