Mushfiqur, Liton half tons take Tigers to victory

Bangladesh won by four wickets against UWI Vice Chancellor in a practice match at Sabina Park today.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das were among the runs as Tigers chased down UWI Vice Chancellor's score of 227 for nine with more than six overs to spare.

UWI Vice Chancellor's XI were in early trouble, losing six wickets for 89 runs before a 91-run partnership between Yannick Ottley and Kavem Hodge took them to a fighting total. Mosaddek Hossain bagged four wickets for 14 runs.

Tigers chased down the target comfortably reaching 230 in 43.3 overs with four wickets to spare as Mushfiqur remained unbeaten on 75 while Liton was dismissed after scoring 70.
