BCB, PCB agree on three-phase Pak tour

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) agreed on the upcoming the tour of Pakistan, to be held in three phases – the second and third phase depending on security clearance for that time -- during a meeting between the two board high-ups, with ICC Chairman Shashank Manohar as the mediator at the sidelines of a meeting of the ICC in Dubai today.

According to the agreement, Bangladesh will play three T20Is in Lahore from January 24 to 27. The first of the two Tests will take place in Rawalpindi from February 7 to 11 while Bangladesh team will go to Pakistan for a third time in April, for the second Test as well as one ODI. The second Test will take place in Karachi from April 5 to 9 after the one-off ODI on April 3 in the same city.

Bangladesh Cricket Board's media committee chairman Jalal Younus confirmed the schedule to The Daily Star this evening.

"Yes, both parties agreed to the three-phase tour," Younus said.
