Tigers' match called off following rain
The match between Bangladesh and Ireland at the Clontarf Cricket Ground in Dublin has been abandoned following rain. The two teams will share two points each.
Earlier, the toss of the third match of the tri-nation series could not take place as it rained from early morning. Before rain started, the Bangladesh players like Tamim Iqbal and Sabbir Rahman undertook some batting practice but following rainfall there was no further cricket action.
The next match of the series will take place on Saturday with Ireland playing West Indies. Bangladesh play West Indies in their next game on May 13 in Dublin.
UPDATE: More rainfall here at @MalahideCC. There will be a further delay before the next pitch inspection. We will advise timing as it becomes available. pic.twitter.com/ASUbuDsPxQ Cricket Ireland (@Irelandcricket) May 9, 2019
