Tigresses get air conditioned microbus
The Bangladesh Cricket Board issued a fully air-conditioned microbus for the transportation of Bangladesh Women's team after the Tigresses were spotted boarding a local non-AC bus to travel to the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong for their training session.
The pictures of the Tigresses availing a local bus, printed in The Daily Star on Wednesday, created huge buzz and criticism on social media. It is not known if that forced the BCB's hand, but on Wednesday morning the board had arranged a fully air-conditioned microbus to take the current Women's Asia T20 Champions to the training ground in Chittagong, instead of the infamous No. 6 bus in the sweltering heat. Today is the last day of the training for the Tigresses.
The Tigresses will head towards the capital after their training session ends and they will be taken to the Airport using the same microbus. The Tigresses are set to leave the country for their Ireland tour on June 23.
