Tigresses' squad named
NON-AC BUS FOR CHAMPIONS: After bringing Bangladesh's biggest international success by winning the Women's T20 Asia Cup, the Tigresses' Eid was a gloomy one as they did not receive any Eid bonus. But there seem to be no end to their hardship as in the sweltering Chittagong heat, they had to contend with a non-air-conditioned ride on the infamous No.6 local bus to reach their training camp ahead of the Ireland tour.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB] announced the 14-member Bangladesh women's squad yesterday for the upcoming tour of Ireland.
Apart from the exclusion of -rounder Jannatul Ferdous, the squad remains unchanged from the 15 that won the Women's T20 Asia Cup earlier this month.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. The team will leave for Ireland on June 24 to take part in three-match T20I series against the host before moving to the Netherlands for the qualifier.
