Sheikh Russel Memorial Sporting Club maintained their lead at the end of the fourth round of the Walton Premier Division Chess League, which is being held at the National Sports Council auditorium's lounge.

Sheikh Russel beat Pritom-Prism Chess Club by 3.5-0.5 points yesterday as IM Diptayan Ghosh, FM Mehedi Hasan Parag and GM Niaz Murshed beat Ananta Chowdhury, Ibrahim Hossain and Asaduzzaman respectively while GM Dibyendu Barua drew against Mokaddesur Rahman Khan. Sheikh Russel now have seven points from four matches.
