Afghanistan U19s win by 202 runs against New Zealand
Aghanistan won by a massive 202-run margin in their quarterfinal match against New Zealand U19s in the ICC U19 World Cup.
Batting first Afghanistan U19s posted 309 on the board for the loss of six wickets courtesy of a stormy 23-ball 66-run knock b Azmatullah Omarzai.
Earlier a 117-run opening stand between Rahmanullah Gurbaz(69) and Imbrahim Zadran (68), gave Afghanistan a solid start after they won the toss and elected to bat first.
In reply, New Zealand were bowled out for just 107 inside 29 overs as Mujeeb Zadran and Qais Ahmed grabbed four wickets each.
Afghanistan make it to the semifinals of the U19 World Cup where they will face Australia.
