Lyon’s stunning catch gets a follow-up
Off-spinner Nathan Lyon bagged four wickets and paceman Mitchell Starc tormented with three wickets as England were all-out for 227 runs in the first innings of the second Test at Adelaide.
The pair also took two fantastic catches which really broke England’s resistance after they continued their innings at 128-5 after tea on the third day.
Lyon flighted one nicely to batsman Moeen Ali, who misread the flight and played his shot too early. Lyon, who was bowling from around the wicket was quick as a flash as he dived across the pitch to take a stunning catch with his left arm outstretched.

Lyon, nicknamed GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), again produced a sublime piece of cricketing skill following his laser throw to run out James Vince in the first Brisbane Test. Moeen had scored 25 off 57 balls in a 30-run stand with Bairstow.
A few overs later, Starc’s delivery, angled into the right-handed Jonny Bairstow was hit back to the bowler, who struck his right-arm out and the ball looped up in the air and the bowler took an easy catch in his second attempt.
