Bangladesh A team lost the second four-day Test against West Indies A by three wickets on the fourth and final day at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium Academy Ground on Friday.
The hosts started the day at 274 for six, Irfan Sukkur and Nayeem Hasan at the crease but they could only add 23 runs to their total, setting the visitors a target of 190 which Joshua de Silva's men reached with three wickets in hand.
Irfan managed to top score with 72 runs and Shahadat Hossain Dipu, who impressed with a half-century in the first innings, also reached the same feat but perished soon after.
West Indies A offspinner Kevin Sinclair picked up a fifer, while pacer Akeem Jordan, who scalped five wickets in the first innings, took two.
Left-arm spinner Tanvir Islam caused jitters inside the West Indies A with a four-wicket haul which helped reduce the hosts to five down for 70 runs but skipper de Silva steered his side to victory with an unbeaten 47 to go 1-0 up in the series.
