Bangladesh Under-19s put themselves in a commanding position to reach their second consecutive ACC Men's U-19 Asia Cup final by dismissing Pakistan U-19s for just 116 runs in 37 overs in the first semifinal at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.

After being sent in to bat, Pakistan's innings faltered from the outset, with both openers falling for ducks. The young Tigers' bowlers capitalised on the shaky start, with Iqbal Hossain Imon claiming four wickets with his medium pace bowling.

Farhan Yusuf offered the only resistance for Pakistan, top-scoring with 32 runs, as their last six wickets tumbled for just 40 runs.

With just 117 runs needed to secure a place in the final, Bangladesh's batters will aim to back up their bowlers' efforts and keep their title defence alive.
