All 15 players of Bangladesh's squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against Zimbabwe will be available to play for their respective teams in the last round of the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL) 2024-25, informed a Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) official on Thursday.

Earlier, it was reported that the players of the Test squad would feature in the DPL only until the 10th round, which ended on Thursday. However, after several clubs made requests to BCB for the players' services, the board decided to change its previous stance. Nevertheless, the Test players will still miss the Super League matches of the List A competition.

"The players will be available to play for their respective clubs in the last round, scheduled to take place on April 12 and 13. Ten of them will play on April 12, while the remaining five players will feature on April 13," BCB's cricket operations in-charge Shahriar Nafees told The Daily Star on Thursday.

However, Nafees said that the players' participation in the DPL will not hamper the Test squad's preparation for Zimbabwe series at home -- scheduled to start on April 13 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

"As per our previous plan, the cricketers who will play on April 12 will accompany the coaching staff and others to Sylhet on the same evening, and the rest will join a day after," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Mohammedan Sporting Club official Tarikul Islam Tito also confirmed they will get the services of all their national cricketers, including Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehedi Hasan Miraz, in their crucial last-round match against Abahani Limited on April 12.

The Zimbabwe contingent is set to arrive here on April 15. The first Test will be underway in Sylhet on April 20, while the second Test will be staged at Chattogram's Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium from April 28.
