But after the departure of Taylor, Rangpur started to loss wickets at regular intervals.
Finally, Rangpur finished their 20-over quota on 132 for 8 to go into Super Over.
Notable contributions came from Soumya (27), Nurul Hasan (24), Khushdil Shah (25), and Steven Taylor (20).
In Super Over, Rangpur batted first and managed 12 runs, courtesy of a six from Khushdil Shah.
Captain Nurul Hasan Sohan invited Chappell to defend the target but the right-arm pacer conceded a six in his first delivery. Requiring five runs from last two balls, Hampshire's Liam Dawson sealed the victory with another six from the last ball.
