India beat Bangladesh by 41 runs to win Women's U-19 Asia Cup title

India defeated Bangladesh by 41 runs in the final to win the inaugural ACC Women's Under-19 Asia Cup title in Kuala Lumpur today.

Chasing a victory target of 118 runs, Bangladesh were bowled out for 76 runs in 18.3 overs, with Juariya Ferrous top-scoring with 22 and Fahomida Choya adding 18 runs.

None of the other batters reached double figures as Bangladesh lost steam after a decent Powerplay.

Earlier, opener G Trisha's 52-run knock helped India to a challenging total. Farjana Easmin was the pick of the Bangladesh bowlers with four for 31 in her four overs.
