Afghanistan beat Bangladesh 4-0

Bangladesh Football Team today lost 0-4 to defending champion Afghanistan in their first match of Group B in the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2015 at Trivandrum International Stadium in Kerala, India.

Afghanistan, the highest ranked team in the South Asian region, put in a fine display against an out of sort Bangladesh side. The match saw Afghanistan dominate the game from the first minute until the final whistle.

The defending champions scored their first goal in the 29th minute of the game with centre back Saighani heading in a corner. Three minutes later Afghan captain Faysal breached the Bangladesh defence to take the lead to 2-0.

The third goal for Afghanistan arrived five minutes before the half time whistle. With less than thirty minutes to go before the final whistle, Khaibar Amani pounced onto the ball and made no mistake in his second attempt to give the Afghan side an impressive 4-0 lead.

Bangladesh Football Team today lost 0-4 to defending champion Afghanistan in their first match of Group B in the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2015 at Trivandrum International Stadium in Kerala, India.
