Bangladesh clinch Plate title

Bangladesh U-14 football team clinched the title of Plate Group in Super Mokh Cup after handing a 1-0 defeat to Shonan Ballmare of Japan in the final in Kuala Lumpur this morning.

Fahim Morshed struck the all-important goal in the final to regain the Plate title they first lifted in 2014. In the last edition, they became runners-up.

Bangladesh had to participate in the Plate Group as they failed to reach the Cup Group in which only the top two teams from each group could qualify.

The teams that failed to qualify for the Cup Group took part in the Plate Group of the Super Mokh Cup at Malaysia.
