Barcelona dressing room fed up with Neymar

The Neymar transfer saga has dragged on for too long, much to the dislike of some players in the Barcelona squad, a media outlet reports.

According to Barcelona based SPORT, the players are ‘completely sick’ of ‘Neymar’s show’ and hope for a quick resolution.

The squad have tried everything to avert the Neymar ‘transfer saga’. The Barcelona players have tried talking to Neymar and tried to change his mind.

The situation has also meant that the club will have to plan for Neymar’s exit and look for a high profile replacement. Liverpool have already rejected Barcelona’s bid for Philippe Coutinho.

Neymar’s silence has given way to further speculations and the feeling within the squad is that his exit is ‘inevitable’.

While Barcelona finished their preseason with wins against Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid the US tour became secondary to the transfer saga.

According to SPORT, players believe that Neymar could have made much less of a big deal over his decision to move to PSG. The dressing room feels that it has damaged the image of the team in the US.

Neymar is currently in Dubai and speculations are ripe that he will undergo a PSG medical at nearby Qatar.
