BD team to depart on Friday

Bangladesh team will depart for Myanmar on Friday to take part in the Asian Youth Boys' Volleyball Championship which will be held in Naypyidaw from 28 March to 5 April.

Thirteen teams, split into four groups, will participate in the tournament which will also serve as the Asian Qualifiers for the 2017 FIVE Volleyball Boys' U-19 World Championship. Bangladesh have been drawn in Pool B along with Iran and South Korea.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.

Bangladesh will play their first match against South Korea on March 28 before facing Iran on March 30.
