Griezmann rules out Man Utd move
Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann has confirmed that he would be staying at the club next season.
The French star has been heavily linked to Manchester United throughout the season and Real Madrid have also shown interest.
When asked about his chances of moving to Manchester United , Griezmann had replied a month ago that it was ‘6 out of 10’.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) upheld the transfer ban that prohibits Atletico from registering new players before January.
"The CAS sanction has been passed. I've decided to stay," Griezmann told Telefoot.
"It's been another good season and hopefully we can make some good signings in January.
"It's a tough moment for the club, for my team-mates, and it would be a low blow to leave now."
Following the CAS decision, Griezmann tweeted his support, saying: "Now more than ever #Atleti #Alltogether"
The player is expected to sign a contract extension in the coming weeks.
